Investors put money into Red Pill Kapital’s syndicated commercial real estate projects through personal, joint, entity or self-directed IRA accounts, and most of the projects can accommodate 1031 exchanges.
At Red Pill Kapital, individual (retail) investors can invest as little as $50,000 in most syndicated projects. High-net-worth individuals and family offices can have investments tailored to their specific risk, cash flow and time needs. Before anyone commits, we work with them to understand their investment needs and whether a project suits their goals.
In most Red Pill Kapital projects, yes. Individual investors can typically be accredited or non-accredited, and we work closely with each one to judge whether a given syndicated project fits their needs. We are currently unable to serve institutional investors or funds, so our investors are individuals, joint owners, high-net-worth families, family offices and certain entities.
Yes, through a self-directed IRA. Before you invest, confirm with your current IRA custodian that it allows an investment in a real estate syndication. If it does not, you can move the account to a custodian that will. Red Pill Kapital also accepts personal accounts, joint accounts, and entity accounts such as trusts, LLCs, limited partnerships, C corporations and S corporations.
Yes. Most Red Pill Kapital projects can accommodate 1031 exchanges, so the proceeds from selling an investment property can go into a syndicated project instead of a building you manage yourself. Our 1031 exchanges page explains how the structure works, what it costs and which deadlines apply.
